Seems to me that tuning the fuel flow rate to the engine tune in 2 ways for emanage the first being adjusting the MAF reading the second one is modifying Injector flow rate directly. So I can start advancing the time from there avoiding knocks. Since I do not have the stock ECU ignition angle map how do I know how retard of timing should I start for each cell for the tune? If not, how do I tune with emange blue to avoid knocks? I have read that some guy in this forum with his Yaris tune without modifying the stock ignition timing, would this work well?

Here are few question I would like to ask:ġ) Is there any thorough guide on how to tune with the Emanage Blue? After learning a little about EFI tuning & how emanage blue works, feel like tuning this piggy back is like a guess work. The MAP sensor and the Boost solinoid harness have plugs on them for the option ports on the unit. The unit came with a map sensor w/Harness, main Harness, and a Boost control solinoid valve with harness. I will be using it on my 2000 RS 2.5 Turbo conversion. I am boosting with turbo (Kinugawa Turbocharger TD04L-15T) at max 0.6 bar (8.70 psi) I recently bought a new Greddy E-Manage Ultimate off of Ebay. And the best thing is if you know how to tune the car, you can tune it using your laptop with the use of a wideband o2 sensor.Hello guys, I am from Hong Kong tuning a JDM Toyota bB NCP31 (Scion xB 1st Gen) with 1NZ-FE for ignition timing and fuel ratio using the Emanage Blue. In a nutshell, you can use your e-manage to increase the amount of fuel injected to cater for modification that you had done or you can use the unit to reduce the amount of fuel injected to reduce your fuel consumption. Unmatched fuel control, richen or lean by 10% out of the fuel mixture when vtec engagesĭata logging and display through E-01 or windows laptop With the optional harness, you are able to control ignition timing for high boost conditionsĪdjustable vtec control fo RPM’s, engine speeds, hold between gear shiftingįor vehicles with a vtec engine swaps, the E-Manage can be used to activate vtec for a non vtec ecu The MAP sensor act as a correction factor. TPS is used only for idle (switch) and transient (TPS /time) The blacktop use mostly the TPS to run. Optional boost sensor & harness allows for fore more refined turbo interaction & controlĮ-Manage can control up to 2 additional injectors that can be activated by RPM or Boost pressure(optional harness required) (02-07-2020 01:37 PM) The Doctor Wrote: At least, that was the plan i have for my MAP 4A-GE, as the stock engine runs on MAP and TPS and the 20V does the same. So the ecu will give the signal to the injector to inject that certain amount of fuel.įor larger mass air flow meter or throttle bodies, you can adjust the input signal☒0% to correspond with the correct proportional amount of fuel deliveryįuel delivery can be adjusted at 5 different RPM points for use with larger injectorĪuto idle correction to prevent engine stallingįuel/boost cut controller included to allow maximum horsepower from the turbo and prevent lean run at top RPM’s It will fit the Greddy Emanage Blue, Emanage Ultimate, and Profec e01. They list maf, karman vortex, vtec and map sensor. Good working used Authentic Greddy 3 Bar map sensor. So instead of ecu getting input from maf or map, it will receive it from the unit. Re: emanage setting Well I know that on the blue you must wire the emanage side according to your motor. So the e-manage will refer to the map the and give the signal to the ecu.

When e-manage is installed the output of the MAP or MAF will be supplied to the E-manage.In the E-manage, user can set their own airflow adjustment mapping. The primary function of a piggyback controller is to adjust the fuel to be injected.ĮCU will inject the fuel according to the Manifold Absolute Pressure ( MAP) or Mass Airflow Sensor ( MAF). It is not an ecu but it is design to manipulate the ecu input to vary the amount of fuel injected, ignition timing and few other functions. The ecu variable input such as rpm, manifold pressure or the mass air flow.īasically the rpm and the amount of air available will be used by the ecu to calculate the correct amount of fuel to be injected. I still think the Crome will be best but I want to use the Emanage for Datalogging and also have an alternative tune so that I can romp on this setup on the track (1/4 mile). Every fuel injection car runs with an ecu to control every operation of the engine. This include controlling the duty cyle of the injector(how long the injector is on, means amount of fuel injected), ignition timing, camshaft profile, and few other. As for the Greddy Emanage Blue I already have it, both harness's, and the MAP sensor so that I was I planned on using it.
